Josephine County Circuit Judge Sarah E. McGlaughlin will decide this week whether to place a court injunction on Grants Pass that would restrict the city's ability to regulate where homeless people can camp — and perhaps allow homeless camping again in most city parks.
An injunction could be in place for years as the lawsuit filed by Disability Rights Oregon and five homeless people against the city of Grants Pass goes through the court system. Read More »
Grants Pass scored six runs during a fourth-inning rally and defeated Ridgefield for a 9-2 non-league win Wednesday in Ridgefield, Washington.
The Cavemen got a stellar pitching performance from senior Bayden Morris in the win. He tossed six innings, striking out four and walking none, giving up six hits and just one earned run in the victory.
Jace McGowan tossed a scoreless seventh against the Spudders.
